Please note that once you have burned the ISO image onto a DVD and are ready to install, the install will erase everything on the drive and install a new operating system (based on CentOS Linux). With years of evolution behind it we make a lot of optimizations for each release to make OSDial run as well as it does. Installing OSDial on top of something else will most likely break something or impeed it's functionality.

Once install is done it is vital that you login as root with the password you chose during installation, and run:

yum clean all;yum update

A fix have been made to the Answering Machine Detection (AMD) routine that enables the AMD configuration. Previously all changes that were made were simply ignored. With this change you can once again modify the settings. Download this file:

agi-OSDamd.agi

Copy it to this directory on each dialer (if you have more than one):

/var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/

Then execute these two commands to assign the proper permissions:

chown asterisk. /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/agi-OSDamd.agi

chmod 755 /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/agi-OSDamd.agi
